1. 사용자 관리를 하기 위한 전제 조건

1.1 [Okta] 프로비저닝 기능 활성화

Google Workspace > Provisioning > To App에서 아래 기능을 활성화합니다.
- Create Users
- Update User Attributes
- Deactivate Users

1.2 [Google Workspace] 라이선스 설정 사용 중지

기존 GWS 조직/그룹에 할당한 라이선스에 대해 Okta에서 Assign할 그룹에 어떠한 라이선스를 할당할 것인지 매핑 작업 및 사전 검토가 필요합니다.
Okta를 통한 GWS 라이선스 할당 및 제어를 위해 GWS의 자동 라이선스 할당 기능을 "사용 중지"로 설정합니다.

2. Google Workspace 사용자 관리

2.1 Google 조직 관리

Okta는 GWS 앱을 할당받은 사용자에 대해 GWS 조직 단위(OU)로 매핑하여 관리하는 기능을 지원합니다.

Okta 관리 콘솔에서 GWS 앱에 Assign 하는 과정 중, 아래와 같이 GWS "Organizational unit"과 매핑 구성을 설정할 수 있습니다.
이를 통해 Assign 된 사용자는 매핑 한 OU에 실시간 적용되어 GWS 정책과 역할을 적용받을 수 있습니다.

2.2 사용자 상태에 따른 관리 (비활성화)

GWS 앱에서 사용자의 Assign이 제거되거나 또는 Okta에서 사용자가 Deactivated(비활성화) 된 경우, 이를 "Deactivation"이라 하며 이때 GWS 계정에 대해 상태와 라이선스를 어떻게 관리할 것인지 선택하는 기능입니다.

Deactivated(비활성화)의 사용자 상태 변경 기본 값은 GWS 계정이 "일시정지" 상태로 변경됩니다.
- Do not suspend user : Okta에서 Deactivation 된 사용자에 대해, GWS에서 계정을 "일시정지" 상태로 변경하지 않고 계속 활성화 상태로 유지합니다.
- Remove all G Suite licenses : Okta에서 Deactivation 된 사용자에 대해, GWS에서 계정에 할당된 모든 라이선스를 제거합니다.
- Remove all G Suite Roles : Okta에서 Deactivation 된 사용자에 대해, GWS에서 계정에 할당된 모든 역할을 제거합니다.

2.3 Google 역할 관리

Okta에서 사용자에게 할당할 GWS 역할(Role)을 정의하고, 이를 GWS에 반영할지 여부를 결정하는 기능입니다.

Okta UI에서 확인되는 Role 리스트는 API를 통해 GWS에서 수집한 Role Name입니다.
Okta의 Role 항목과 매핑되는 GWS Role에 대한 사항은 아래 별도 Role 매핑 테이블 자료를 참고 바랍니다.

Manage roles on create and update : Okta를 통한 Role 할당 기능을 사용할지 여부를 결정하는 옵션입니다.
Undefined : 최초 Assign 과정의 기본 설정 값으로 False와 같은 Role 할당에 대해 Okta가 관여하지 않습니다.
ture : Okta를 통한 GWS Role 할당 기능을 적용하여 Okta에서 설정한 역할을 GWS에 부여합니다. (Active)
false : 기존 "GWS 역할 유지" 또는 "GWS에서 역할 별도 관리"를 위해 Okta를 통한 Role 할당 기능을 사용하지 않습니다. (Inactive)
Roles : GWS Role에 대한 리스트 (복수 선택 가능)

2.4 Google 라이선스 관리

Okta에서 사용자에게 할당할 GWS License를 정의하고, 이를 GWS에 반영할지 여부를 결정하는 기능입니다.

Okta UI에서 제공되는 GWS 라이선스 항목은 GWS에서 제공하는 전체 라이선스 리스트 입니다.
- 이는, Okta가 실제 구매한 GWS의 라이선스 항목만 API로 수집하기 위해서는 결제/구독 항목의 민감한 정보까지 접근 권한이 필요합니다. 그렇기에 Okta가 API로 요청할 수 있는 최소 권한을 유지하기 위한 보안 요건으로 GWS의 전체 SKU 리스트를 제공할 수 밖에 없습니다.
UI에서 라이선스 항목에 대해 복수 선택은 가능하지만, 주의사항이 필요합니다.
- 구매하지 않은 라이선스로 설정한 이후, 라이선스 할당의 프로비저닝이 진행되면 오류가 발생합니다.
- 복수 선택이 가능한 사항은 라이선스 부여는 아래와 같이 "기본 Plan + 부가 서비스" 형태인 경우 이며, 3번과 같이 상위 등급의 SKU 기본 Plan이 복수 선택하게 되면 오류가 발생합니다.
  1. 가능: Business Starter (기본 Plan) + Google Vault (부가 서비스)
  2. 가능: Enterprise Standard (기본 Plan) + Cloud Identity Premium (부가 서비스)
  3. 불가능: Business Starter (기본 Plan) + Enterprise Starter (기본 Plan)

Manage licenses on create and update : Okta를 통한 License 할당 기능을 사용할지 여부를 결정하는 옵션입니다.
Undefined : 최초 Assign 과정의 기본 설정 값으로 False와 같은 License 할당에 대해 Okta가 관여하지 않습니다.
ture : Okta를 통한 GWS License 할당 기능을 적용하여 Okta에서 설정한 라이선스을 GWS에 부여합니다. (Active)
false : 기존 "GWS 라이선스 유지" 또는 "GWS에서 라이선스 별도 관리"를 위해 Okta를 통한 License 할당 기능을 사용하지 않습니다. (Inactive)
Licenses : GWS Licenses에 대한 리스트 (복수 선택 가능)

3. 라이선스 매핑

일부 제한으로 인해서 Okta에 표기된 라이선스 이름과 Google에 표기된 라이선스 이름이 다를 수 있으므로 라이센스 매핑표를 통해 라이선스를 확인할 수 있습니다.
